A South Canterbury port city with a sheltered artificial harbour, a rich heritage streetscape and a strong identity as the gateway to the Mackenzie Country.

"Touch, taste, feel Timaru" was a controversial welcome sign slogan, introduced by the Timaru District Council and Central South Island Tourism Board in 2006. The sensual phrasing on the town's welcome signs (lick) drew public mockery and local mischief, with residents altering the boards with their own additions.

This print is a limited edition of 25 Giclée, in either A4, A3, A2, A1, A0  prints. Printed on 200gsm cotton rag. Numbered and signed by the artist Michelle Fraser.
