The tiny stone chapel on the shores of Lake Tekapo in the Mackenzie Basin. Built in 1935 as a tribute to the early Canterbury high country runholders, the church sits quietly against an ever-changing backdrop of turquoise glacial lake, tussock, and the vast Southern Alps.
A deeply spiritual and still place for me and my late father.
