An original acrylic painting inspired by the legendary home of New Zealand architect Ian Athfield — a sprawling, organic hilltop residence in Khandallah, Wellington, that grew and evolved over decades into something truly extraordinary. Athfield's house defied convention and became a living symbol of creative freedom in Aotearoa. A landmark that has fascinated me, every time I drive in and out of Wellington over the years.
